En 2003 Stat Quo devient le 2ème artiste à signer sur Shady/Aftermath, malheureusement il ne connue pas le même succès que 50 Cent. Il a réalisé quelques collaborations et tournés au coté de Em et 50 Cent mais ses différentes tentatives de single n'ont pas vraiment fonctionné... Aujourd'hui Stat Quo est free agent et en profite pour poser tous ces différents couplets enregistré depuis ces 5 dernières années. Depuis octobre 2008 il a déjà sortie 4 mixtapes qui sont en téléchargement libre sur son myspace http://www.myspace.com/statquo

Comme les précédents, il y a 3/4 titres d'intéressant mais quand même beaucoup de déchet, c'est vraiment des mixtapes faitent à la va vite, il doit tellement avoir de son en stock lol.

Avant son 1er album officiel, il prévoit de sortir 2 street album cette année dont le 1er "Smokin' Mirrors" qui sortira en digital le 21 avril.

"It’s kind of like a preview for a movie, but not necessarily telling you what the movie is about. The significance of the title Smokin’ Mirrors is sometimes when you stand in front of the mirror, reality gets f**ked up when it’s clouded with smoke, and you lose focus of who you are in a situation. It’s basically trying to see who you are through the mirror, and that can apply to any one of us."

Le son est bon, mais j'ai toujours du mal avec le flow à Stat Quo, je le verrais plutôt posé sur des instrus dirty south Smile
