Nas & Damian Marley

Lors de la dernière cérémonie des Grammy, Nas a annoncé qu'il était en train de réaliser un album avec Damian "Jr Gong" Marley (un des fils du légendaire Bob Marley).

"Right now, I'll tell you first, I'm working on an album with Damian Marley, and we tryin' to build some schools in Africa with this one, and trying to build empowerment. We're tryin' to show love and stuff with this album. So, the record's ... all about really the 'hood and Africa also as well. That's coming out real soon."

"Too early to tell the title or anything like that. Shout out to my man Jr. Gong, we getting it in right now."

Anthony Saleh, le manager de Nas, a confirmé au site Billboard que Damian Marley et Nas travaillaient bien sur leur projet en commun depuis plusieurs semaines à Los Angeles et que cette semaine ils sont partis à Miami pour finir l'album qui devrait sortir au printemps avec une tournée de prévu pour l'été.

"We've been recording in a studio, where people like Mick Jagger are recording. No one knew who we were. We're going to Miami this week to finish it up and we're aiming to tour for the album this summer."

Pour l'instant ce projet n'a pas encore de titre et on ne connait pas encore le label qui accueillera cet opus.
